Delhi University to invest Rs 5,889 crore in hostels for 21,895 students
- Delhi University has approved a ₹5,889 crore plan to build new hostels and upgrade existing ones for 21,895 students.
- Around ₹4,027 crore will fund new hostels for 15,758 students, while ₹1,862 crore will upgrade housing for 6,137 students.
- New multi-storey hostels are planned at Dhaka Complex, Surajmal Vihar and Najafgarh, along with separate facilities for boys and girls.
