EC bars both Trinamool Congress factions from using party name and symbol
- The Election Commission on Thursday barred both TMC factions from using the party's name and Flowers & Grass symbol.
- Both factions must submit three name and symbol choices by 11 am on 18 September for the West Bengal bypolls.
- The split began after Ritabrata Banerjee's June rebellion, backed by around 60 MLAs against Mamata Banerjee's leadership.
