EC extends SIR deadlines in six states and UTs with revised voter roll dates

The EC on Thursday extended its Special Intensive Revision of voter rolls in six states and UTs.
Final rolls come on 30 November in Nagaland, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Haryana and Maharashtra.
Delhi’s final rolls are pushed to 22 December, with claims accepted until 25 November.
The EC said the longer notice phase gives voters and parties more time to file objections.
