ED says Tirupati laddu ghee was made using palm oil and chemicals
- The ED says Tirupati laddus were made with adulterated ghee, not pure cow ghee, in the alleged scam.
- The agency alleges the ghee contained palm oil, palmolein and several chemicals instead of cow milk fat.
- Sukriti Foods promoter Kailash Chand Mangla was arrested by the ED on September 17 in the case.
- The ED alleges ghee worth ₹230 crore was fraudulently supplied to TTD between 2019 and 2024.
