Flying taxis have an airport in Dubai, now they just need permission to fly
- A vertiport is an airport built for flying taxis. This one sits next to Dubai International Airport.
- But nothing is flying yet. The building is ready, and the flying taxis are still waiting for approval.
- It has four floors, two landing pads, fast charging and passenger areas. It can handle 1.7 lakh passengers a year.
- A California company called Joby will run the air taxis.
