FSSAI issues notice to Nestle India over Lactogen Pro 1 digestibility claim

Food regulator FSSAI served a notice on Nestle India on Wednesday over a claim on Lactogen Pro 1 Powder.
The packaging said it contains whey protein that is easy to digest, which the regulator is questioning.
Nestle India has been asked to furnish scientific evidence for the claim within a stipulated period.
FSSAI has also issued notices over Complan and Nan Excella Pro Stage 1 in a wider crackdown on claims.
