Hyderabad's Sigma Advanced Systems wins Rs 1,600 crore Rolls-Royce contract
- Sigma Advanced Systems is a Hyderabad firm making precision parts for aerospace and defence, in India and the UK.
- In July it bought Bromford Precision, a Leicestershire manufacturer, for about Rs 153 crore.
- That purchase has now brought a Rs 1,600 crore agreement with Rolls-Royce, on top of one worth Rs 3,800 crore.
- Bromford will build aero-engine rings, casings and other engine structures, at Sigma's plants in both countries.
