India enter Asian Champions Trophy as record five-time champions

India will enter this month’s Asian Champions Trophy as the most successful team, with five titles since 2011.
The tournament runs from 27 October to 5 November, split between Jalandhar and Mohali in Punjab.
India won the first edition in 2011 by beating Pakistan in a shootout, and won again in 2016 and 2018.
They came back from 3-1 down to beat Malaysia in Chennai in 2023, then defended the title in China in 2024.
