- New Zealand's Parliament passed the pact with strong bipartisan support, 93 votes in favour and 26 against.
- The two countries now sign it into law and exchange diplomatic notes before it formally enters into force.
- PMs Christopher Luxon and Narendra Modi have committed to doubling bilateral trade under the agreement by 2030.
