India, Palestine discuss Gaza aid and two-state solution
- MEA Secretary Sripriya Ranganathan met Palestinian Foreign Minister Varsen Aghabekian Shahin on 18 August during her official regional visit.
- They discussed India-Palestine ties, development projects and the situation in Gaza.
- India reiterated support for a negotiated two-state solution, saying dialogue and diplomacy are essential for achieving lasting peace.
- India also called for continued humanitarian aid to people in Gaza.
