India plans world’s highest cricket stadium at 11,800 feet in Ladakh

- Ladakh authorities have started the Detailed Project Report DPR process before construction can begin.
- The project is estimated at around ₹100 crore and, if completed as planned, could become the world’s highest cricket stadium.
- The stadium is expected to support local players and sports tourism, with larger matches possible subject to approvals.
