- Pant is the fourth cricketer to reach 100 Test sixes, joining Ben Stokes with 138, Brendon McCullum with 107 and Adam Gilchrist with 100.
- India held a lead of 294 runs at tea with the score at 116/4 in the second innings, with Pant key to setting a big target.
