International traffic rises 8% for Indian airlines despite domestic drop
- International passenger traffic for Indian airlines rose 8% month-on-month in August to around 2.6 million passengers.
- Domestic passenger traffic declined 11% month-on-month and 5% year-on-year, amounting to about 12 million passengers.
- The international passenger load factor improved to 77.2%, while the domestic load factor decreased to 83.1% in August 2023
