J&K reopens 1998 Wandhama massacre case after 28 years
- On August 24, J&K’s State Investigation Agency reopened the 1998 Wandhama massacre case after nearly 28 years.
- On January 25, 1998, terrorists entered Kashmiri Pandit homes, asked for tea and later opened fire on residents.
- The attack killed 23 Kashmiri Pandits, including nine women and four children, in Wandhama village of Ganderbal.
- SIA is now examining fresh leads to identify surviving attackers, accomplices and others linked to the massacre.
