Jadavpur sees overnight vandalism at TMC, CPIM offices and leaders’ residences
- TMC and CPIM offices and former lawmakers’ homes in Jadavpur were vandalised overnight on September 19-20.
- A Communist Party of India Marxist martyrs’ memorial at Bapujinagar was also damaged during the attacks, according to party members.
- TMC and CPIM leaders alleged BJP-backed groups were involved whereas the BJP denied any role in the vandalism.
- Former Trinamool Congress MLA Debabrata Majumdar said CCTV cameras, windows and doors at his residence were damaged.
