- Karnataka's Food Safety Administration seized Rs 1.38 crore in expired, mislabelled food from Amazon & Swiggy Instamart facilities.
- At Amazon's two Bengaluru facilities, officials seized food worth Rs 56 lakh and medicines worth Rs 4 lakh.
- A Swiggy Instamart facility in Hoskote was shut after Rs 42 lakh in expired food was found there.
- Separately, expired products worth around Rs 56 lakh were found at Lingarajapuram, sealed on 7 September.
