Karnataka seizes ₹4.02 lakh medicines from unlicensed Amazon facilities
- Karnataka’s Food Safety and Drug Administration seized medicines worth ₹4.02 lakh from two Amazon facilities, on September 6.
- The facilities were located in Thattanahalli, Anekal, and Aerospace, Devanahalli, and lacked valid drug licences.
- Officials recovered medicines worth ₹2.45 lakh from Anekal and ₹1.57 lakh from Devanahalli.
- Authorities said the raids followed intelligence inputs and found serious compliance violations in medicine storage.
