Maharashtra gets its first 1,405-tonne steel bridge for Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train
- A 100-meter-long steel bridge, weighing 1,405 metric tonnes, has been installed in Thane for the bullet train project.
- The bridge is the first of twenty-eight planned steel bridges along the Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train corridor.
- The steel bridge was transported from Trichy, Tamil Nadu, and assembled on-site after traveling 1,300 kilometers.
- According to the project manager, sixteen of the planned twenty-eight bridges have now been completed, indicating the progress.
