Meet Singai Ramachandran, the new face of Tamil Nadu’s startup mission
- The Tamil Nadu government has appointed Singai G Ramachandran as chairperson of the Tamil Nadu Startup and Innovation Mission TANSIM.
- An IIM Ahmedabad alumnus, Ramachandran holds an MBA and previously studied engineering at PSG College of Technology.
- He has worked as an entrepreneur and founded ventures including Campus Cafe and a digital media company before entering politics.
- He left AIADMK in July 2026, joined TVK in August and was appointed TANSIM chairperson soon after.
