Meet Zuckoff, the app that warns you about nearby AI smart glasses
- A new iPhone app called Zuckoff can detect nearby AI smart glasses by scanning their Bluetooth signals.
- The app was created amid privacy concerns over camera-equipped glasses such as Meta’s Ray-Ban and Oakley models.
- Zuckoff compares Bluetooth identifiers with a database of known glasses and estimates how close they are using signal strength.
- However, detection does not prove someone is recording, identify the wearer or show where the glasses are.
