Movie, concert tickets may get costlier in Mumbai as BMC proposes 570% tax hike

- Non-AC cinemas face a 400% hike, from Rs 45 to Rs 200, while concerts and plays see a smaller rise.
- The BMC proposed a full tax waiver for Marathi and Gujarati films, plays and concerts to support regional culture.
