Mutual funds face Rs 1.33 lakh crore outflow in September, AMFI reports
- India's mutual fund industry recorded a net outflow of around ₹1.33 lakh crore in September, according to industry data.
- Data from the Association of Mutual Funds in India AMFI showed more money was withdrawn from mutual funds than invested overall.
- Equity mutual funds attracted ₹38,306 crore, up 31% from August, while small-cap funds received a record ₹9,038 crore.
- The figures show that overall mutual fund withdrawals can remain high even when investors continue putting money into stock market funds.
