NCC founder and Padmashree awardee AVS Raju passes away in Hyderabad

Dr Alluri Venkata Satyanarayana Raju, founder of NCC Limited, passed away in Hyderabad on Tuesday at the age of 89.
Raju was born on April 18, 1937, in Andhra Pradesh & founded Nagarjuna Construction Company.
The Government of India recognized Raju with the Padma Shri award in 2010 for his contributions to trade & industry.
Raju authored over 25,000 poems & set a Guinness World Record in 2008 for his literary achievements.
