Netflix’s Operation Safed Sagar boosts India’s VFX industry
- Netflix worked with 12–15 Indian VFX studios and over 1,200 artists to create nearly 50 minutes of aerial combat sequences for Operation Safed Sagar.
- The project involved studios from Chennai, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Bengaluru, showing India’s expanding creative technology network.
- Netflix said the series contributed over $24 million around ₹215 crore to India’s economy, with more than $5 million from VFX and creative technology work.
