New test may help doctors find cancer recurrence before symptoms appear
- MedGenome, an Indian genomics and diagnostics company, launched OncoTrack MRD—Molecular Residual Disease in Bengaluru on September 3 for cancer monitoring.
- It studies tumour tissue collected during biopsy or surgery, then checks blood samples for the same cancer DNA.
- The test may find remaining cancer before scans, helping doctors monitor treatment and the risk of its return.
