Nuclear power could more than triple by 2060, says the UN nuclear agency

- Its chief Rafael Grossi named AI data centres and electrification as the main drivers.
- More than 400 reactors in over 30 countries produced 10 per cent of the world’s electricity in 2025.
- Over 60 new reactors are under construction. Grossi called nuclear safer than every other option.
