- Former Army chief Gen MM Naravane said Operation Sindoor marked a “very significant shift” in India’s approach towards Pakistan.
- He said earlier strikes after Uri and Pulwama mainly targeted terrorist hideouts near the border.
- Operation Sindoor went further, targeting terrorist supporters and infrastructure deep inside Pakistan, Naravane said.
- Naravane said the operation sent a message that those supporting terrorism could be targeted regardless of where they were located.
