Owaisi opposes Centre's plan to remove century-old Delhi mosque for Central Vista project

AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi on Wednesday criticised the Centre on X over the removal of a century-old Delhi mosque.
The Centre told the Delhi High Court the Qadeemi Masjid inside Krishi Bhawan must go for the Central Vista project.
The Centre said public land in the central administrative zone cannot be permanently set aside for a faith.
Owaisi said the mosque had stood there long before Krishi Bhawan was built, and predates 1912.
