- Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch five development projects worth ₹3,350 crore in Ladakh on October 15.
- The new Leh airport terminal, built for ₹640 crore, can handle 35 lakh passengers annually.
- The 298-kilometre Nimmu-Padum-Darcha Road will provide an alternative route connecting Ladakh with Himachal Pradesh.
- Projects include hydropower facilities, transmission lines, a petroglyph park and 40 village water bodies.
