Ramayana is testing pay-per-view in India at the biggest possible scale
- Ramayana: Part One will stream on JioHotstar after its theatrical run, but on a pay-per-view basis.
- • Viewers will have to buy the film separately rather than watch it on a standard subscription.
- Pricing and the digital release date have not been announced. The film is in cinemas from 5 November.
- JioHotstar and Prime Focus Studios are calling it a first for the platform.
