Reliance proposes Rs 2 lakh crore nuclear plant in Haripur to Bengal government
- Reliance proposed a nuclear power plant at Haripur, Bengal, to CM Suvendu Adhikari and officials on Wednesday.
- The plant could bring investment worth about ₹2 lakh crore over six to seven years, government sources said.
- An NPCIL-approved 2,000-acre plot is available at Haripur, where a similar project was scrapped in 2011.
- Reliance also proposed hotels, a data centre in New Town, and coal gasification in Deocha-Pachami.
