CBSE promotes digital payments in schools, urging safety and financial literacy
- CBSE has advised affiliated schools to expand digital payments for fees, canteens, libraries and other services.
- Schools can offer UPI and RuPay, while areas with weak internet can use UPI Lite, LiteX and UPI 123PAY.
- Schools have also been advised to consider Bharat Bill Payment System BBPS for secure and standardised fee collection.
- The aim is to make school payments easier while improving digital financial literacy and transaction safety.
