RG Kar case officer to lead CBI probe into Disha Salian death

- The CBI has registered an FIR into the 2020 death of Disha Salian following a Bombay High Court order.
- The FIR calls for investigation into the roles of Aaditya Thackeray, Uddhav Thackeray, Rhea Chakraborty and others.
- The probe will examine alleged record suppression, evidence fabrication and misuse of police resources, besides Salian’s death.
