RSS chief Bhagwat faces opposition criticism over diversity remarks in New York
- Opposition parties on Sunday accused RSS chief Bhagwat of contradicting himself over his diversity remarks in New York.
- Bhagwat had said unity in diversity is in India's DNA and a Hindu wanting no Muslims will not remain Hindu.
- Congress, TMC, AIMIM and CPI leaders asked why he does not deliver the same message in India, calling it an old trick.
- The BJP hailed the remarks, with Fadnavis saying tolerance is the soul of Hindutva and runs in Hindu blood.
