- Iranian Navy's IRIS Lavan has been docked in Kochi since March 4, following the outbreak of war in West Asia.
- The ship had 183 crew members at arrival, with over 50 still in Kochi after India repatriated non-essential personnel.
- The Cochin Port Authority confirmed that the vessel's guardianship has been transferred to them.
- External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar stated the ship was allowed to dock on humanitarian grounds due to reported technical problems.
