Symbiosis puts Nagpur professor on leave over alleged messages to former student

Symbiosis International sent a Nagpur professor on compulsory leave over claims he sent a former student inappropriate messages.
Police said the former student and her family have not filed a complaint or provided evidence despite requests.
The university formed a committee to probe the allegations after protests by right-wing organisations.
Sources said the professor has already submitted his resignation, which the university has not confirmed.
