Telangana raises autorickshaw fares for the first time since February 2014

- The minimum fare has increased by ₹10, from ₹20 to ₹30 for the first 1.6 km.
- Auto unions want the minimum fare raised to ₹40 and have announced a three-day protest.
- Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar said the fares may be reviewed again after hearing drivers’ concerns.
