Telangana sees 62 POCSO cases involving boys in nine months

Telangana recorded 62 POCSO cases involving boys in the first nine months of 2026.
The figure compares with 61 cases in all of 2025 & four cases reported in 2024.
Experts say stigma & fear of social backlash may keep many such cases unreported.
The rise highlights concerns over sexual abuse of boys and gaps in reporting & protection.
