Vijay broadens free bus travel scheme for differently-abled persons across more services
- Tamil Nadu CM C Joseph Vijay announced an extension of free bus travel for differently-abled persons to more government buses.
- The free travel scheme, earlier available on ordinary buses, will now cover Express, LSS and Deluxe buses.
- Air-conditioned buses will remain excluded from the expanded free travel scheme.
- Vijay also announced low-height scooters and new homes, training centres and primary centres for differently-abled persons across the state.
