WhatsApp launches guest calling feature, allowing calls without an account
- WhatsApp is rolling out a guest calling feature that lets people join voice and video calls without an account or app.
- Users can create a call link and share it with anyone, who can join through a computer browser after entering their name.
- Guests need the host's approval to join. Calls are free, encrypted and have no time limit, with up to 32 people joining one call.
- Guests can share screens and react with emojis but cannot send messages or see phone numbers.
