Why about 50 air defence towers have appeared around President Putin’s residence in Valdai

• Satellite images suggest Russia has built about 50 air defence towers around Putin’s residence at Valdai.
16 went up in recent weeks, in a ring to the south, on the side facing Ukraine.
That is roughly half the number protecting Moscow and the region around it.
The analysis is by Radio Liberty and an open-source researcher. Russia has not confirmed it.
