‘Work has gone to waste’: Bittu Tabahi finds Ajnar River polluted again

Surendra Singh Choudhary, known as Bittu Tabahi, says the Ajnar River in Madhya Pradesh is again full of plastic and garbage.
He had spent eight months pulling tonnes of waste from the river in Rajgarh district, working alone and without equipment.
In an Instagram video on Tuesday, he said the banks were clean only weeks ago and that his work had gone to waste.
Rather than give up, he has started cleaning the river all over again, and the video has sparked a debate about civic sense.
