Adani Group begins Dharavi redevelopment, ₹4–5 billion planned in first phase

Adani Group has begun construction of the massive Dharavi redevelopment project in Mumbai.
The first phase is expected to take 6–7 years and involve $4–5 billion in investment.
The project aims to build over 2 lakh homes for nearly 10 lakh Dharavi residents.
Plans also include schools, hospitals, parks, transport links and restoration of the Mithi River.
