Apple announces September 9 for unveiling new iPhone and foldable phone
- Apple is expected to unveil the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max on 9 September, with no standard iPhone 18 this year.
- That model, along with the iPhone 18e and Air 2, is now expected only in spring 2027, splitting the annual launch.
- The bigger news is Apple's first foldable, rumoured to be called the iPhone Ultra and to cost around $2,000.
