Asia’s largest waste-art pookalam comes to Malappuram
- Malappuram will unveil a 1,560-square-foot recycled pookalam at Kottakkunnu, billed as Asia’s largest.
- Nine artists used 20,736 plastic bottles, 485 CDs and other household waste to build it over five days.
- The Green Onam artwork features Kathakali and snake boat motifs while promoting responsible waste disposal.
