- CBI arrested Nirav Modi associate Sandeep Mistry after he was deported from the UAE in the PNB fraud case.
- Mistry, a former director of Fancy Creations Ltd, allegedly played a key role in coordinating dummy companies linked to Modi.
- The CBI alleged he helped prepare forged import-export documents and conceal fictitious diamond, gold and jewellery transactions.
- Mistry was sent to judicial custody till October 6 in the ₹6,498.20 crore Punjab National Bank fraud case.
