Chenab Bridge sees first 100 kmph Vande Bharat run
- Indian Railways raised the speed limit on the Katra-Banihal section in Jammu and Kashmir to 100 kmph after safety checks.
- The milestone was achieved when a Vande Bharat Express crossed the Chenab Railway Bridge, the world’s highest railway bridge in Jammu and Kashmir.
- The 111-km broad-gauge section connects Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra and Banihal, improving rail connectivity in the region.
