DMK attacks CM Vijay over silence on Mekedatu dam issue

- DMK MP Dayanidhi Maran said at a press meet that Karnataka CM Shivakumar spoke openly for the dam while Vijay did not oppose it.
- Maran said Vijay failed to raise Tamil Nadu's stand on the Cauvery water dispute before Amit Shah in Mahabalipuram.
- Southern states backed Shah's suggestion to resolve pending water disputes through dialogue at the meeting.
