CISF signs MoU with Drone Federation of India to strengthen counter-drone skills
- CISF has signed an MoU with the Drone Federation of India to strengthen its personnel’s counter-drone capabilities.
- The partnership will focus on preparing security personnel to tackle aerial threats at 370 vital installations.
- These installations include facilities in key sectors such as aviation, nuclear power, space and oil refineries.
- CISF has already trained around 3,000 personnel in drone and anti-drone protocols, while 80 units currently use drones for surveillance.
