EC allots new names and symbols to rival TMC factions ahead of Bengal bypolls

- Mamata Banerjee's group got "Mamata All India Trinamool Congress" and the "Football Player" symbol as a recognised party.
- Arup Roy's group received "Democratic Trinamool Congress" and the "Envelope" symbol, also a recognised party.
- The move follows Thursday's interim order barring both groups from using the "All India Trinamool Congress" name.
